Getting married is about two different people committing their lives together. On your wedding day, you deserve to have a good laugh, and a brilliant time with your beloved friends and family. Just leave all hassle to our professional team and we will work out the magic for you.
Bringing a natural, unobtrusive approach, our team consists of two photographers and an assistant, as well as one or two videographers.
Waito, our Chief Photographer, concentrates on taking snap pictures throughout the wedding. Always on the move, he searches to catch the tiniest moments that go by very quickly.
The secondary photographer focuses on the “must-have” shots including family portraits and group shots with guests. And our assistant helps with logistics and lighting which are very essential.
Our experienced team is here to preserve every special moment, including morning wedding games, traditional rituals, the official ceremony, vows, speeches, bouquet toss and dinner banquet.
One of the main challenges facing wedding photographers is the frequent changes of location and lighting scenario. There are no rehearsals and that moment will only happen once. That’s why Waitography takes pride in being able to transform real, wonderful moments that are gone in the blink of an eye into timeless imagery.

We are experienced at covering weddings in some of Hong Kong’s most popular wedding venues such as the Four Seasons Hotel, the Peninsula and the Grand Hyatt; in the lush gardens in the Repulse Bay Hotel and the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Beas River Country Club, as well as in pretty churches such as Béthanie Chapel in Pokfulam, the White Chapel on the Discovery Bay, St. Andrew’s Church on Nathan Road and St. Margaret’s Church in Happy Valley.

I have been keeping an eye on Waitography’s photo work long before we have decided to get married. So when the time came, I immediately thought of Waito and didn’t take long before I confirm his wedding day shooting package.
Waito is a very detail minded person. Before the shooting, he spent time going through the wedding rundown with us and has given us lots of useful tips to fine tune the rundown. This is very much appreciated as I heard not every photographer is willing to do the same.

No formal posing, no excessive lighting or gorgeous backdrop required. Our approach to Pre-wedding/Engagement photoshoot involves drawing inspiration from the couple’s story to create something entirely original, personal, and distinctive. We ask the bride- and groom-to-be about where and how they met, their shared interests and favourite spots, or places that have special meaning to them. That helps us form ideas for a unique photoshoot.
